QUIZ: Tournament Winners in the 2015/16 Season

So it’s another summer of stop-start snooker, just like we have experienced in the last two or three years.

The wait for the next event isn’t too long, with the return of the Indian Open next week but then there’ll be another fortnight gap until the World Open, and a further month interlude between it and the Paul Hunter Classic.

As I’ve stated every year around this time, it’s something that World Snooker should seek to address in my opinion as a more compact campaign with less stoppages would lead to a more free-flowing and enjoyable campaign – especially the first half, which is currently tedious to follow at best.

Formulating schedules with promoters is obviously difficult and nobody is discrediting the powers that be for their efforts in establishing events on the calendar, but the Indian and World Opens have been rescheduled from their previous dates and one questions why more of an effort wasn’t made to timetable them, along with the Riga Masters, nearer the Paul Hunter Classic at the end of the August.

Anyway, with this downtime in 2015 I started creating some quizzes for us to pass the time with, and will do likewise again until autumn.

There were almost 30 tournaments contested during the last term with several new names getting themselves etched into some silverware.

The question is, can you name all the champions during the 2015/16 season?

NOTE: You do not need to answer in order. Click on each tournament to answer them individually.
