Well, 2018 is drawing to a close and the climax to the German Masters qualifiers means that we’re at the midway point of this snooker season.

Judd Trump rounded proceedings off in style with a fourth career 147 break in his 5-0 thrashing of Lukas Kleckers on Friday.
There’ll be no further action on the glorious green baize until the new year so it’s time to put the cues away and relax over the holiday period.
Fear not, though, because it’s not yet time to wind down here on SnookerHQ and there’ll be a few more articles to look forward to between now and December 31st.
As usual, we’ll be taking a look back at 2018 with a series of review articles, in particular looking at some of the high and low points from the last twelve months.
There’ll also be a discussion as to who deserves the Player of the Year nod, what SHQ articles you read the most, and of course a few quizzes to keep you ticking over.
Let’s begin with the latter then and a quiz that was requested over on social media website Twitter recently.
Can you believe that the 2018/19 snooker season is actually seven months old?
In that time, we’ve lost a few players for various reasons – most notably obviously the bans that were inflicted on a pair of naughty Chinese cheats.
But way back at the start of June there were 129 players in total that began the campaign with the hope of making an impact on the Main Tour.
The question is, can you name all the Main Tour players in the 2018/19 snooker season?
