The snooker calendar moves into one of its busiest and most prestigious stretches of the season, with November featuring several of the sportโs biggest titles.
From ranking events in China and the UK to invitational showpieces and amateur action, thereโs plenty to keep fans occupied throughout the month.
World Snooker Tour
International Championship
One of the more high-profile ranking events on the calendar, the International Championship returns to China in early November.
The tournament, with its slightly longer format compared to normal, acts as a good barometer of whoโs in form heading into the winter stretch.
Ding Junhui is the reigning champion and will be among the names who are expected to challenge for the ยฃ175,000 top prize in 2025.
The Chinese favourite beat Chris Wakelin in the 2024 final to claim a 15th career ranking crown.
When is it? November 2-9, 2025.
Champion of Champions
The Champion of Champions invitational sees winners from the previous 12 months square off in a 16-player field.
There had been some controversy and confusion in the last week or so surrounding the criteria for qualification, but the 2025 lineup has finally been sorted out and confirmed.
Mark Williams is the defending champion, with the likes of Judd Trump, Kyren Wilson, Zhao Xintong, and Neil Robertson also involved.
The eventโs format and elite field regularly lends itself to producing some of the highest-quality snooker of the entire campaign.
When is it? November 10-16, 2025.
Riyadh Season Snooker Championship
Snookerโs profile in the Middle East continues to grow and the Riyadh Season Snooker Championship is now a regular stop on the calendar.
The third edition of the invitational, which is infamous for its introduction of a 20-point golden ball that can only be potted at the end of a 147 break, boasts ten of the world’s best players plus a couple of local wildcards.
Mark Allen is the reigning champion, the Northern Irishman beating Luca Brecel in the final just before Christmas last year.
When is it? November 19-21, 2025.

UK Championship
The UK Championship is the first Triple Crown event of the season and arguably the most important ranking title after the World Championship – certainly in terms of prestige and history.
Qualifying matches will be staged separately in Wigan before the main draw, featuring the last 32 contenders, takes place at the Barbican Centre in York
Judd Trump is the defending champion, with that UK Championship glory representing the world number one’s last on the World Snooker Tour.
When are the qualifiers? November 22-27, 2025.
When is the main event? November 29 – December 7, 2025.

Irish Womenโs Snooker Open
The Irish Womenโs Snooker Open makes its debut on the World Womenโs Snooker Tour this month.
The tournament will take place at the Snooker Billiards and Ireland HQ in Carlow and is expected to attract several of the tourโs leading players alongside local hopefuls keen to make their mark.
As a new addition to the schedule, it represents another positive step in expanding the womenโs game.

Amateur snooker

Good shout. Not as prestigious as it once was but plenty of history in that tournament.
It’s a shame that the EPSB deem the IBSF not worthy of being a member of. The English players are missing out as a result.
The Crucible Club in Reading will host World Seniors Tour Event 4 from November 21-23.
The World Seniors Tour needs a revamp, find it all a bit random.
The ranking list is very hard to fathom! I like the draw for the British Seniors Open but it will clash with the PDC World Darts Championship.
