Fans around the world will be keen to watch live coverage as the 2024 World Snooker Championship commences on Saturday in Sheffield.
World number one Ronnie O’Sullivan and defending champion Luca Brecel are among the star names in the draw this year.
Judd Trump, Mark Allen, Mark Selby, and John Higgins are other formidable names who will be challenging at the Crucible Theatre.
There have already been ten days of qualifying, with the likes of Jack Lisowski, Hossein Vafaei, and 2015 world champion Stuart Bingham emerging from the preliminary competition.
When is the 2024 World Snooker Championship?
The action at the venue stages gets under way on Saturday, April 20th and runs for 17 gruelling days before the Crucible king is crowned on Monday, May 6th.
There are three sessions of play during 12 of those 17 days, with the morning sessions starting at 10am UTC.
The afternoon sessions begin at 2:30pm UTC while the evening sessions start at 7pm UTC.
The only exceptions to this schedule are both Thursdays (April 25th and May 2nd), the second Monday (April 29th), and the two days of the final (May 5th and 6th), when there’ll be no morning sessions and the afternoon session cues off at 1pm UTC instead.

Eurosport has been the self-proclaimed “home of snooker” for 20 years.
Once again, there will be blanket coverage of the World Championship on its TV channels for viewers across Europe – including the UK and Ireland.
A subscription on its streaming service discovery+ will provide another option to watch the World Snooker Championship live in this territory.
Asia
CCTV5 is the main broadcaster in China, with fans in the huge country hoping to see a first-ever Chinese world champion.
Ding Junhui, Zhang Anda, Si Jiahui, Lyu Haotian, and Pang Junxu are all in the mix at the last-32 stage.
