We conclude our end-of-year review with a look back at some of the most read snooker articles from 2025 on this website.
This season is a special one of SnookerHQ.com as it represents the 15th that has been covered, and hopefully you continue to enjoy the content that is provided here.
I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t some fatigue after so many years, but the sport has been good to me and this website still proves to be successful, which I’m always grateful for.
In 2025, 370 articles were published on the website and this year was also when the site eclipsed 5,000 total articles published since the first was written back in 2011.
Visitors from 209 countries and territories were welcomed, with the UK, Ireland, Malaysia, China, and USA representing the top five in terms of hits, but not to forget sole visits from the likes of Djibouti, Timor-Leste, and the Solomon Islands.
I want to give a special shout out to frequent readers, to those who participate in the comments section regularly, and also to the email subscribers who help drive consistent traffic.
Here are the top 10 most read snooker articles from 2025 on SnookerHQ.com. Happy New Year!

Thank you for all the good work, David, and here’s to a happy, healthy, successful new year 2026!
Happy new year, Frank.
I will take some praise from this article as I must be among those who comment frequently!
The effort you put in is much appreciated. I’m guessing the fatigue element is a mixture of undertaking the site for so long and being in Korea for a sport that’s still quite heavily based in the UK. Have a prosperous 2026, and keep pushing for the 20th anniversary of Snooker HQ!
Absolutely, Jay. Looking forward to many more comments in 2026. Happy new year!
Definitely!
