Nine Events in CrossGuns Junior Series; The Billiard Co. Join as Sponsor

The dates for the inaugural CrossGuns Junior Series have been announced with nine events in total for young snooker enthusiasts to look forward to this coming season in Ireland.

As previously revealed, SnookerHQ is delighted to be included as a sponsor for the series, which stages Under-19 and Under-14 tournaments on the first Saturday of each month from September until May – except January and May which will take place on the second Saturday.

Also great news for the series is the addition of The Billiard Co. as the sponsor of the Breakthrough Player of the Year award.

CrossGuns Snooker Club owner Fin Ruane, who is organising the Junior Series, has received a lot of support for the initiative so far and I’m sure it’ll become a great success.

Fin released this statement today on the CrossGuns Facebook page outlining the full details for the Junior Series and how to enter:

“CrossGuns Is delighted to announce in partnership with The Billiard Co and Snooker HQ the following dates for the inaugural Junior Series this season.”

“Throughout the season Juniors will compete in U14 and U19 competitions for the CrossGuns Junior Player Of The Year Trophy alongside the Snooker HQ High Break Award and The Billiard Co Breakthrough Player Of The Year Award.

“Entry fee for each event is €10. U14 players can enter both events for €10.

“Play begins each date at 12pm with free practice available from 11am and throughout the day when tables are available.”
