Josh Boileau has reached the final of the European Under-21 Championship in Poland.
The Irishman came from 4-3 down to edge Joseph O’Connor in a decider 5-4.
Boileau had led his English opponent 3-1 but lost the next three frames and was within one pot of defeat when O’Connor took the eighth frame to a re-spotted black.
However, Boileau potted the black and controlled the last frame to reach the final for the second time in three years.
In 2014, the Kildare cueist also went to the final showdown but fell agonisingly short against Oliver Lines, who now plies his trade on the professional Main Tour.
Boileau will be hoping to go one better in 2016 but faces a tough task as he takes on Brandon Sargeant in a best of 11 clash.
The match will be taking place this afternoon (Saturday) and you can watch it live by

The best of luck to Josh.
