World Championship title sponsor Betfred will donate £200 to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice for every century break made during the 17 days of this year’s tournament.

And if the century tally reaches 70, the donation will be rounded up to £25,000.

The Betfred World Championship runs from April 16 to May 2 at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, with 32 of the world’s best players competing for the title.

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice in North Anston, Sheffield has been World Snooker’s official charity since 2012.
