Coral Sponsors English Open

Snooker’s new Home Nations series starts next week with the Coral English Open.

coral-english-open-logoCoral has signed up as title sponsor of the world ranking event which will run from October 10 to 16 at Event City in Manchester.

Top stars including Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, Mark Selby, John Higgins, Neil Robertson and Shaun Murphy will be among the 128 players contesting the title and £70,000 top prize at the tournament which will be televised on Eurosport and Quest.

The Home Nations series will also include events in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, and any player winning all four will receive a massive £1 million bonus.

World Snooker Chairman Barry Hearn said: “We are delighted to be working with Coral on the brand new English Open. They have already joined us as title sponsor of the Shoot Out so we’re delighted with the support they are showing for snooker. This event will attract a huge television audience on Eurosport and Quest, bringing tremendous exposure for the Coral brand.
