Full list of results at the 2025 Welsh Open qualifiers

The preliminary stage of the 2025 Welsh Open concluded on Thursday with 32 qualifiers joining the top 32 seeds in the main draw.

Three days of action at the Barnsley Metrodome saw the field whittled down, with the lineup for next week’s concluding Home Nations event now confirmed.

The 2025 Welsh Open is an important tournament on the 2024/25 snooker calendar for a number of reasons.

As usual, the contenders will be competing for the Ray Reardon Trophy, a ranking title, and a handsome champion’s cheque worth £100,000.

Additionally, however, the 2025 Welsh Open represents the last opportunity to secure an invite to the World Grand Prix in Hong Kong.

The upcoming World Open is being staged before the World Grand Prix, but ranking points earned there will only count towards the Race to the Players Championship.

The top 32 players on the one-year rankings list following the conclusion of the Welsh Open will be able to participate in Hong Kong.

Also on offer at the Venue Cymru next week will be the Home Nations bonus, where the top-performing competitor across the four events on the series will pocket a £150,000 bonus.

Neil Robertson leads the way on that front but several players could still prevents the Australian from landing the jackpot.

In the Welsh Open qualifiers this week, the likes of Graeme Dott, Matthew Stevens, Marco Fu, and Ricky Walden emerged unscathed.

Former champion Jordan Brown also advanced in addition to three amateur top-up players – Dylan Emery, Joshua Cooper, and Florian Nuessle.

Elsewhere, Xu Si struck his second maximum 147 break of the season during a 4-2 victory over Bulcsu Revesz.
