By winning the Australian Goldfields Open on Sunday, John Higgins captured his 27th ranking event title.
This took him to joint third on the all-time winners’ list alongside Ronnie O’Sullivan, and just one behind Steve Davis.
Still way out in front, though, is Scotland’s Stephen Hendry, who accumulated an incredible 36 ranking event trophies over the course of his glittering career.
