With 2022 drawing to a close, it’s time to start the annual snooker review – starting with a quiz on the event winners from this year.
The sport has taken steps back towards normality during the last twelve months following a couple of difficult years amid the COVID pandemic.
For the first time since early in 2020, the professional circuit travelled outside Britain and Ireland, with Germany and Turkey among the destinations on the calendar.
Unfortunately, tournaments in China are still yet to be resurrected, leaving considerable gaps on the schedule throughout the year.
The World Snooker Tour has tried to fill these barren spells in various ways, most notably with longer qualifying tournaments, but the Chinese competitions continue to be missed.

Even so, there was plenty of silverware to be contested for – both at the end of the 2021/22 season and into the first half of the ongoing 2022/23 campaign.
There were three multiple snooker event winners on the main tour across that period, with one player capturing four titles in total in 2022.
There was also more action on the Women’s World Snooker Tour with the trophies shared among four competitors.
Two tournaments were staged on the World Seniors Tour, including the World Seniors Championship in May.
Indeed, across the three tours there were champions crowned a total of 31 times during 2022.
The question is, can you name them all?
